Job Title: Outside Sales Associate/Business Development Executive
Department: Business Development 
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent (Remote)
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality
Salary: Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package 
Start Date: As Soon as Possible
The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales to achieve established KPI and profitability targets and fostering strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a market leading book of business on a profitable basis.
• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
• Conduct calls with customers daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat retailers.
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
• Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs

What we are looking for in a candidate:
• Post-secondary education in Business and/or Marketing or any equivalent education that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement.
• Work experience: Previous sales or business development experience.
• Have a well-developed phone presence and high comfort level in initiating conversations. Aside from a social and positive personality, this person must be a self-starter and proactive problem solver.
• Strong interpersonal skill, detail oriented, willing to work independently and always team focused.
• Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• **Candidate must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for this role**
